What greatly concerns me is your positions on Israel. You have stated that you are a supporter of that Jewish State. Your actions do not match your words. I am unaware that you ever have said anything positive about Israel. You are the first to criticize Israel when it is attacked as “overreacting.” when it defends itself. I find that you and other candidates outrageously propose to take some funds away from the grant our country has given to allow Israel to purchase military equipment, to be bought only from us.
Why do you ignore the fact that the Palestinian leadership misuses these funds to enrich themselves, build a high-end mall for affluent residents of Gaza, build tunnels from which to attack Israel and most egregious, pay families that have a relative that has committed an act of terror? Payments to family members range from $145 for Israeli terrorists to $2,900 per month for life. Those payments come from aid provided by many countries. When the USA learned that some of its money was being used to reward terrorists, it reduced the amount it has been contributing. Rushing fill the gap in funding were Germany, Russia, Switzerland, Norway, Finland and Denmark. And now you and some of your colleagues wish to participate in making up for the USA reduction because of the funds for aid are being used to honor terrorism. That makes you and those European nations complicit in the murder of Jewish Israelis.
You are being severely criticized by Israelis and by former ambassadors to the United Nations - John Bolton, Nikki Haley and others. They are blasting you not only for refusing an offer to address AIPAC’s convention and insulting the Prime Minister of Israel, but they referred to you “as an ignorant fool” for claiming Israel’s Prime Minister is a racist. Racist? Israel has taken in more than 1,000 black Ethiopian Jews and has authorized admitting 400 more. Despite acts of terror by Hamas in Gaza, Israel has convoys of trucks carrying needed supplies to the Palestinians Gazans, Racists?
Bernie, you present me with a dilemma. I cannot support you and I could not vote for Trump. I suggest that you withdraw your effort to become the Democrats nominee for president. I know you won’t do that so I am hopeful some candidate other then you becomes the Democrats flag bearer.
