Susan Marsha Fisher, 71, of Olathe, Kansas, and Marlborough, England, died on Wednesday, Sept. 27. 

Funeral services were held on Oct. 24 at the Kehilath Israel Blue Ridge Cemetery Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to encourage donations to Mayo Clinic Cancer Research. 

She was born March 27, 1952, to Gerald and Zelda Cohen in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School in 1970. She married the late Michael (Mick) Fisher in 1974, and for the past 23 years split her time between Olathe, Kansas, and Marlborough, England.

While living in England, Susan chaired the Marlborough Jazz Festival, sponsored the Lit Fest, contributed to the historical society and embraced her love of travel. She explored 35 countries with family and friends.

Susan was preceded in death by her father, husband and younger brother, Jim Cohen.

She is survived by her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter: Michelle, Mark and Ariel Sylvester of Olathe; her mother, her brother and sister-in-law: Zelda Cohen, Ken and Joy Cohen of Leawood, Kansas; her niece, Courtney Craig; her nephew, Patrick Cohen; and five great-nieces and great-nephews.
