Phyllis Merle Goldberg passed peacefully on Sept. 18, 2023. 

She was born in Brooklyn, New York, and was a resident of Overland Park, Kansas, for more than 40 years. 

She will be remembered for her smile, her endless curiosity and interest in everyone she met, and her incredible, loving spirit. 

She retired from Johnson County Community College, where she was a career counselor for more than 20 years. She was a founding member and past president of Congregation Beth Torah.

She is survived by her children, Melissa Kroh (Chad Kroh) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Daniel Goldberg of Texas; grandchildren, Hannah Kroh and Noah Klingler; and great-grandchild, Parker Kroh. A memorial service was held at Congregation Beth Torah on Friday, Sept. 22.
