With the start of a new year, what better time to develop new habits to make the best of your life! At 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, the Family Life Education Department of Jewish Family Services (JFS) is offering an online workshop, “New Year, New Habits: Exploring Self-Care Tools and Techniques.”

The White Theatre at The J is partnering with the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF), creators of the award-winning Yiddish Fiddler on the Roof, for a special livestream performance, called “Soul to Soul,” to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 18 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $12 per household.

MeltonKC, powered by HBHA, continues to offer a varied selection of 2020-21 courses to engage, connect and offer thought-provoking discussion among students of all ages and stages of Jewish learning. Currently, all classes are virtual, though some classes plan to meet outside (when possible) or reconvene when it is safe to return in person.
