Donations of gently used clothing, bedding and shoes to Thrift World will help raise funds for the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW).

Thrift World will pay by the pound for the donations, and NCJW will use the funds towards their goals of improving the quality of life for Kansas City women, children, and families.

After paying NCJW for the donations, Thrift World will sell them in retail stores and online. Anything not sold is either recycled or exported to developing countries.

Donation drop off will be held on Saturday, May 6 (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.); Sunday, May 7 (1 to 4 p.m.); Monday, May 8 (3 to 4:30 p.m.); and Tuesday, May 9 (4:30 to 6:30 p.m.) at Little Owly’s Preschool, 5311 W. 75th St., Prairie Village, KS 66208. There will be a donation trailer on the east side of the preschool.

More information about NCJW is available at kansascity.section.ncjw.org.
