The deadline to register is Aug. 15, and participants are asked to register early, as some classes have limited space available. Registration fees increase after Aug. 15.

Day of Discovery, which is a partnership of the Rabbinical Association of Greater Kansas City and Jewish Experiences, a collaboration of Jewish Federation at The J, is a unique opportunity for the entire Jewish community to discover and explore Jewish learning in Kansas City. Participants will have the opportunity to learn, study and discover some of the community’s finest Jewish educators, rabbis, professors, experts and cantors as they lead sessions on a wide range of topics throughout the day. Over 30 different courses will be offered in 2022.

Sessions will be offered in various formats, including in person, virtual or hybrid, to ensure that members of the community have the opportunity to participate in Day of Discovery in the way they feel most comfortable. Lunch is offered at an additional cost, with KC Vaad Certified Kosher sandwich and salad options, catered by Hen House.

This year’s interactive family program, which was created in collaboration among the Rabbinical Association of Greater Kansas City; Jewish Experiences, A Collaboration of Jewish Federation and The J; Jewish Family Services (JFS); Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy (HBHA); Chabad of Leawood; and PJ Library, features a variety of activities throughout the day, including music in the Sukkah, a JFS Pantry scavenger hunt and more.
