Blanche Sosland  — along with her fellow Beth Shalom Sisterhood members and Banishing Bullying Behavior Project colleagues Robbie Bossert, Joan Jacobson, Ellen Rothman and Aletha Simon — will present, “Thou Shalt Not Bully: A Call to Action” from 7 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 15 via Zoom.

Centered around Sosland’s book, “Banishing Bullying Behavior: From Early Childhood through Senior Adulthood,” the panel will discuss the growing epidemic of bullying behavior from early childhood through senior adulthood, with a focus on workplace bullying and senior citizen bullying.

Sosland says that people in the legal profession maintain that bullying is the worst in their field, those in the medical field believe it is the worst in theirs, and those in academia whom she interviewed had the same response.

Additionally, statistics on bullying in senior living settings are alarming. As many are considering how to find a bully-free environment for their parents and other loved ones, this is often a topic of interest.

Sosland and the panel will be available for questions immediately following the presentation. This program is for all ages and is open to the community. Visit sisterhood.bethshalomkc.org/events/ and click on Sisterhood Presents "Thou Shalt Not Bully: A Call to Action" to RSVP.
