Take time for personal reflection, introspection and contemplation for the upcoming Jewish New Year during the Service of Spiritual Renewal for the High Holidays at 6:30 p.m., Aug. 19, at Village Shalom, 5500 W. 123rd St., in Overland Park.

Rabbi Rudnick, Jewish community chaplain, and Lezlie Zucker, music coordinator for Congregation Beth Torah will lead this meaningful and uplifting service which will include traditional and contemporary prayers, songs and readings. The service will also include moments for personal reflection and meaningful closure of the current year, combined with words of hope for the year ahead.

The service is hosted by the Jewish chaplaincy program, under the auspices of Jewish Family Services. In accordance with most recent CDC guidelines and due to increase in Covid numbers in our area, individuals planning to attend the service in person must wear masks regardless of vaccination status. Masks will be provided for participants who need them.
