Lacey Pinnick, daughter of Kristi and Neil Pinnick, will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday, August 5, at The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah.

Lacey, an eighth grade student at Woodland Springs Middle School, plays tennis and rides horseback. She also plays flute and percussion in her school’s band.

For her mitzvah project, Lacey was inspired by her love for animals to volunteer and collect supplies for Always and Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary. Donations to the sanctuary can be made at tinyurl.com/43jbpbsd.
