Adam Cohen and Kathy Bigelow announce the Bar Mitzvah of their son, Miles Edward, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah. Services will be held at the Jewish Community Campus.
Miles is the grandson of Steve and Gloria Cohen, and Gary and Phyllis Bigelow of La Habra, California. He has twin siblings, Celia and Eli.
Relatives and friends are invited to worship with the family and to attend the Oneg Shabbat following the service.
Miles enjoys playing the cello and likes to tinker with model rockets. He is a national qualifier for the National Science Bee competition and was recognized as a grand award winner by the Duke University TIP program.
Miles’ mitzvah project involved collecting personal care kits for the homeless, in coordination with Independence Boulevard Christian Church and Congregation B’nai Jehudah’s Mitzvah Meals project.
