Carl Galler, 93, of Leawood, Kansas, passed away Aug. 23, 2016, at Villa St. Joseph in Overland Park. Graveside services and interment will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25 at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 5529 Ditzler, Raytown, MO 64133. Kindly omit flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harvesters Food Bank, Planned Parenthood or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Carl is survived by his son, Richard and his wife, Pameena; daughter, Nancy and her husband Chuck Ferries and grandchildren, Anita and Kevin Galler. Carl was born Sept. 19, 1922. He was the youngest of five children of Sam and Ida Galler. Carl is the last of his siblings to pass.
Carl was married for over 68 years to his loving wife, Jeanette, who preceded him in death in 2012.
He was a successful businessman and one of the first in the car stereo industry.
The business, which he started in 1965, is still going strong.
He was always devoted to his family and friends and will be missed dearly.
