Shirley Stein, 87, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away quietly on Nov. 21, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death in 1996 by her husband, Harry Stein. She is survived by sons Ross Stein and Barry Stein, and her partner of 12 years, Jimmie Kurz. Shirley was known by her many friends for her kind and generous heart and her great sense of style. Per her wishes, there was a private funeral service.
