Sarah Elizabeth Herman Schuster and Raphael Gershon Schuster were married on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022, in Kansas City, Missouri.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Vicki Herman of Overland Park, Kansas, and the groom is the son of Brian and Carol Schuster and Terri Stusser Schuster of Bellevue, Washington.
Sarah and Raphi met while studying at the University of Kansas and were both active with KU Hillel. They both graduated in 2017 and moved to Washington, D.C. The couple were engaged at the Portrait Gallery in Washington on July 4, 2021.
The couple recently moved to Prairie Village, Kansas, with their cat, September, and purchased their first home together.
Sarah, a Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy alumna, works in fund management at The Carlyle Group. Raphi works as a data analyst at Premise Data.
