In its core granting cycle, the Jewish Community Foundation’s Community Legacy Fund has awarded $254,313 to 17 local Jewish community organizations. These grants are intended to help enhance and maintain the quality of Jewish life in the Greater Kansas City area. 

After more than a year of pandemic life, many of us are ready to explore the world in new ways and add meaning to our lives. Fortunately, MeltonKC, now part of Jewish Experiences, a Collaboration of Jewish Federation and The J, provides a wide array of educational opportunities for any adult in Kansas City who seeks continued growth and learning.

The 2021-2022 session of the great Jewish literature reading club and discussion group kicks off after the High Holidays, with the first Zoom-based discussion taking place on Sunday, Sept. 19. Discussions will continue on the third Sunday of each month (through June), from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
