Lisa Siegel, 47, of Bellingham, Washington (formerly of Overland Park, Kansas), passed on Jan. 3 from complications following years of suffering from traumatic head injuries.

Frandzia (Fran) Bernstein passed away on Dec. 29 at the age of 82.

Wendy Passer, whose boundless energy and inventive spirit enriched both her family and those she coached, passed away on New Year’s Day at the age of 61, following a determined fight against cancer.

Spencer Gerber, 76, of Overland Park, Kansas, died on Dec. 18. 

Jacqueline Joan Fredkin Arst passed away on Nov. 30 at age 91.

Ruth Margolies, beloved wife of the late Rabbi Morris B. Margolies, died on Dec. 11 at age 98.

Parvin Khalili Rahbarrad passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Dec. 10 in Olathe, Kansas.

Maurice Mizrahi Eastman, 84, of Mission, Kansas, passed away on Dec. 5.

Sally Louise Strauss passed away peacefully on Nov. 15 at St. Luke's Hospice in Kansas City, Missouri, in the loving and protective company of her devoted friend and caregiver, Judy Shepard.

Phillip S. Brown, 88, longtime resident of Fairway, Kansas, died on Nov. 27 at Village Shalom, surrounded by his loved ones.
