Jewish Community Relations Bureau | American Jewish Committee (JCRB|AJC) is hiring for two leadership positions that will help advance its mission of combating antisemitism, building bridges across differences and strengthening the community.
Director of Better Together and Special Programs
The first new position will lead the growth of Better Together, a community-building initiative that equips participants with the skills to engage across differences through dialogue, curiosity and respect. This position focuses on expanding the initiative through strategic partnerships, facilitator training, program implementation and community engagement while supporting additional organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in program management, nonprofit leadership, education or community engagement, along with exceptional relationship-building and organizational skills. This position is grant-funded through a partnership with the Menorah Heritage Foundation.
Director of Education and Programs
This position will lead JCRB|AJC’s educational initiatives to combat antisemitism and strengthen understanding of Jewish identity throughout Kansas and western Missouri. This position oversees signature student leadership programs, including Leaders for Tomorrow (LFT) and Student to Student (STS); develops educational programming for schools and community organizations; builds relationships with educators and civic leaders; responds to incidents of antisemitism alongside the JCRB|AJC team; and helps advance public programs that foster greater understanding and engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in education, nonprofit leadership, Jewish communal work or a related field, along with outstanding communication, public speaking and project management skills.
