Jewish Community Relations Bureau | American Jewish Committee (JCRB|AJC) has established the Sarah Milgrim Justice in Action Scholarship, an opportunity that honors the memory and impactful work of Sarah Milgrim (z”l).
Milgrim was a passionate Jewish advocate who dedicated her life to building bridges across communities, promoting peace and championing justice for all. This annual scholarship, awarded by JCRB|AJC, serves as a tribute to Milgrim’s legacy by empowering the next generation of Jewish leaders to pursue meaningful justice-oriented work and action.
The scholarship recognizes one or more outstanding students, as funding allows, who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to advancing social justice, combating antisemitism, fostering intercommunity and interfaith understanding and/or engaging in civic leadership or advocacy.
This scholarship is intended to support special student-led projects, initiatives, programs, travel experiences or other educational opportunities that advance the student’s work in these areas. Applicants should demonstrate active participation in Jewish leadership and a strong commitment to justice, interfaith relations, combating antisemitism and/or civic engagement.
