Schlachter-Erwin Engagement
Dr. and Mrs. Jeffrey and Linda Schlachter of Leawood announce the engagement of their son, Andrew Schlachter, to Rachel Erwin, daughter of William and Sharon Erwin of Chicago.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Larry and Sally Siflinger and Frank and Carol Erwin. She attended Highland Park High School, St. Edward’s University and Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, earning her medical degree in podiatric medicine. She is currently employed as a podiatric resident at Weiss memorial Hospital in Chicago.
The future groom is the grandson of Irving and Vivien Schlachter and Florence and Bernard Mishkin. He attended Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy, Indiana University and KU School of Medicine, earning his medical degree. He is currently employed in pulmonary/critical care medicine at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
An Oct. 20 wedding at Sofitel Hotel in Chicago is planned.
