Mia Skyler Ginsburg, daughter of Lisa and Eric Ginsburg, will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday, Jan. 20, and The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah.
Mia, a student at Lakewood Middle school, plays volleyball and dances competitively in hip hop, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern and ballet.
For her mitzvah project, she is collecting new and gently-used dancewear and dance supplies for Donate2Dance, an organization that serves underprivileged and disabled dancers around the world.
