Lisa and Seth Gortenburg announce the bat mitzvah of their daughter, Ava Isabella Gortenburg, on October 29 at Kehilath Israel.
Ava is the granddaughter of Susan and Charles Goodbinder and the late Mary and Melvin Gortenburg. She has a sister, Tali, who is 14. She has two dogs, Brody and Winnie, and a guinea pig named Xena.
Ava enjoys doing gymnastics, playing soccer and playing piano.
A private ceremony will be held virtually.
