Steve and Beatrice Fine announce the Bar Mitzvah of their son Eric Jacob Fine at Congregation Beth Shalom. The Bar Mitzvah will be on October 16. Eric is the grandson of the late Leona Cohn and Barbara and Eric Ellis, his namesake. He has a brother, Benjamin.
Eric enjoys Boy Scouts, swimming, tennis, video games and “dad” jokes. Last summer, Eric and friends from his Boy Scout troop collected over 1,200 pounds of food for the Jewish Family Services Food Pantry. This summer, Eric attended Ma’assim Tovim where he participated in community service activities for Harvester's, the Humane Society, the Mitzvah Garden, Scraps KC, Catholic Charities and more.
