Corey and Jered Nussbaum announce the Bar Mitzvah of their son, Samuel Ari Nussbaum, at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at the Sheraton Hotel in Overland Park.
Sam is the grandson of Cathy and Jeff Alpert and Ronna and Larry Nussbaum. Great-grandparent is Elizabeth Nussbaum. Sam has two siblings, Kyra and Mari.
Relatives and friends are invited to livestream the service.
Sam enjoys baseball, basketball and digital music production. He attends Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy. For his mitzvah project, he is gathering gently used sports shoes and sports equipment to donate to the Boys and Girls Club of Kansas City.
