Jonah Shane Antes, son of Jeremy and Danielle Antes, will become a bar mitzvah on Saturday, Dec. 6, at Congregation Beth Shalom.
Jonah is the grandson of Carl Antes and Sue Rogers; Barbara Bernstein and Saul Erlich; and Donald and Debbie Rose. He is the great-grandson of Mary Lou Urich and the brother of Eli, Gabriella and Caleb Antes.
Some of Jonah’s hobbies are fishing, riding his electric scooter, playing Fortnight and Roblox and snuggling with his cats, Pearl and Jett.
For his mitzvah project, Jonah created and sold 3D-printed animal bookmarks, fidgets, tic-tac-toe boards and mezuzah cases to raise money for the Heart of America Humane Society, which helps foster and care for cats and dogs in need.
