Juliet Sosland, daughter of Rachel and David Sosland, will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday, Nov. 22, at Congregation Beth Shalom.
Juliet is the granddaughter of Sharon and Stuart Pase and Blanche and Neil Sosland, all of Kansas City. She has three siblings: Ethan, Gabrielle and Jake.
A student at Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy, Juliet is a competitive dancer and plays volleyball and basketball. She enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, watching movies, traveling and spending summers at Herzl Camp.
For her mitzvah project, Juliet is collecting stuffed animals for Huggable Healers, an organization that collects and repurposes stuffed animals for pediatric patients.
Family and friends are invited to worship with the family and to attend the Kiddush luncheon following the service.
