Isabella Simone Malyarov, daughter of Shelly and Alex Malyarov, became a bat mitzvah on Saturday, Aug. 30, at Congregation Beth Shalom.
Isabella’s grandparents are Rimma and Boris Livak and Larisa and Vitaly Malyarov. She is a great-granddaughter of the late Betya and Yakov Altman (who were longtime members of Beth Shalom) and the late Seymone Malyarov. She has one sister, Briana, who is 7 years old.
Among Isabella’s favorite activities are competitive dance, volleyball and going to Camp Herzl in the summer.
For her mitzvah project, Isabella donated books to Lead to Read KC.
