Fern Badzin

Fern Badzin, 95, of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, passed away Sept. 21, 2018, with her children at her bedside. Funeral services were held on Sept. 23 in Minnesota. Memorials to the donor’s favorite charity.
Fern was preceded in death by her husband Bernard Badzin. She is survived by sons Elliott (Marlys) Badzin, Jim Badzin and Sheldon (Abby) Badzin; grandchildren Bryan (Nina) Badzin, Tobi (Scott) Perlen, Jaci Badzin, Lawrence (Maytal) Badzin, Tracee (Josh) Lee, Brooke (Nathan) Fineman, Michael (Lauren) Morgan and Charlie (Alexa Adler) Morgan; great-grandchildren Sam, Rebecca, Elissa, Nathan, Jacob, Gabriella, Zachary, Eliya, Ori, Emma, Max, Ben and Emme; and many loving friends.
Fern was a lifelong philanthropist who was dedicated to making the community a better place. She was a lifelong member of Beth El Synagogue, and in addition was a major supporter and member of many other Jewish and civic organizations. She also loved the arts and culture and gave generously to many organizations.
She was a multifaceted individual with a big personality who enjoyed a good time. Fern’s family would like to thank her caregivers, Precious, Linda and Helen, for all of their loving care over the years.
