Norman Frank

Norman Frank, 77, of Roeland Park, Kansas, died Dec. 27, 2020. A private family service was held on Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at Sheffield Cemetery.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morris and Molly Nissenfeld Frank, and his sister and her husband, Myra Frank Levinson (Harvey). He is survived by his wife Jeannie Frank; daughter Molly Jeanne Frank Brystowski (Daniel); granddaughter, Leora Aria Brystowski; nephews, Matthew Levinson and Danny Levinson (Meagan) and their son Desmond.

Chabad House Center on Indian Creek Drive in Overland Park led by Rabbi Sholom and Rebbetzin Blumah Wineberg, The Shul of Leawood, led by Rabbi Mendy and Rebbetzin Devory Wineberg, and Rabbi Schneur Perman and Rebbetzin Esty Perman were of the greatest importance to Norman’s spiritual life and he loved being a regular participant in all services, simchas and everything that centered around the Chabad House — he had such joy in participating with everybody.

His discourses with Rabbi Zevy Wineberg about the cosmic world are legendary. His friends were very important to him and he loved each one of them dearly. His friendship with all of the Wineberg family was of paramount importance in his life. His family would like to take this opportunity to express our profound gratitude to the Winebergs and Chabad House on Indian Creek for their nurturing and everything that they meant to Norman on this earth, and will continue, in Gan Eden. His friends at Chabad House meant the world to him.

Norman attended Washington University, graduating with a degree in biology and later going through UMKC School of Law. Norman took great care of himself, loved every species of animal in the world and was also a natural artist. His love for laughter and life was unparalleled. Norman deeply loved his family and meeting his granddaughter was one of the great highlights in his life. Jeannie, Molly and Daniel will miss him very deeply.
