Jeff Shniderman, 70, of Overland Park, Kansas, died on Jan. 6. Services were held on Jan. 7 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

Jeff was born on June 21, 1955, to the late Alice and Paul Shniderman in Kansas City, Missouri. His mom always remarked that June 21 truly is the longest day ever, especially in 1955. He lived in Kansas City with his brother, Joe, and sister, Liz, before moving to California to start his sales career.

Jeff worked in sales most his life, specializing in kosher foods and working for a produce broker selling to most area grocery stores. To this day, Jeff couldn't go grocery shopping without stopping to chat with store personnel that he had known forever.

Jeff was also a published author. His works include a life skills series meant to aid young people in researching various careers and skills needed to succeed.

Jeff enjoyed bowling, especially with B’nai B’rith on Sundays. He made many lifelong friends among the bowlers who still gather for friendly poker games monthly.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy; his dog, Kylo; sister, Liz; and sister-in-law, Susan.
