Kehilath Israel’s young members committee is excited to resume the synagogue’s monthly tot shabbat program, kiKIDZ. Join them the first Saturday of every month at 10 a.m., starting July 3. This program is suggested for children ages 0-8 and their families. It is open to members and nonmembers alike. No RSVPs are required.
TLC GETS SUNDERLAND GRANT
The Torah Learning Center (TLC) recently received a $250,000 grant from the Sunderland Foundation, which will help it reach its $1.2 million capital campaign goal, as reported by its fundraising consultant Byrne Pelofsky + Associates. TLC is raising funds for the expansion of its KC Kosher Meals on Wheels facility to support its rapidly growing meal delivery program.

The Jewish Community Center is excited to announce the return of the Youth Triathlon on June 27, after a hiatus due to the pandemic. The J’s Youth Triathlon is for kids from age four to 17 and allows youth to compete in a fun setting complete with food, music and a medal for every participant.
