PJ Library's annual Hanukkah Glow Party will return Saturday, Dec. 5, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Jewish Community Campus, featuring new activities for children and families of all ages.
This year's event, called "Glow Party: Recharged," will include a special “Maccababy” play area for children up to 2 years old, “Club Our Way” activities for tweens and glow-in-the-dark light play for all ages.
Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas or Hanukkah outfits to the celebration, which Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City describes as the community's largest Hanukkah event.
The evening will include a communal havdalah ceremony and menorah lighting to mark the second night of Hanukkah. Snacks will be available for children and adults.
Laura Gilman serves as PJ Library chair, and Savannah Kannberg Sipp is the event chair and PJ Library step-up chair.
Admission is $18 per family through Monday, Nov. 30, and increases to $25 per family beginning Tuesday, Dec. 1. Families seeking financial assistance can request it through the online registration form.
The event is open to the entire Kansas City Jewish community. Tickets and additional information are available at JewishKansasCity.org/Events/Glow-2026.
