Registration is now open for the 2026-2027 school year at the Fred Devinki Religious School at Kehilath Israel Synagogue (K.I.).
The religious school offers Hebrew instruction for students at all levels, from beginners to more advanced readers. Students will build their Hebrew skills step by step, learn prayers, and become comfortable opening a Siddur, following the service and participating in synagogue.
In addition to Hebrew, students study Torah, mitzvot, and Jewish traditions through stories, discussions, games and hands-on activities. The program's aim is to help children enjoy learning, ask questions and understand how Judaism connects to their own lives.
Students approaching Bar or Bat Mitzvah age will work with Rabbi Moshe Grussgott on Hebrew, prayer and Torah-reading skills. They will also learn what it means to become Bar or Bat Mitzvah and take a more active role in our community.
The school is free and is open to all children in the community. Families do not need to be members of K.I. to enroll.
