The Jewish Unforgettable Ladies Interested in Eating Together (JULIETs) will meet for a seminar on bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), an individualized approach to managing hormone-related symptoms.
The event will be held on Sunday, July 26, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Location will be provided upon reservation, which can be done by emailing Susie Klinock at by Thursday, July 23.
Registered pharmacist Karen Butler will speak to the JULIETs about BHRT and how hormone changes can affect energy, sleep, mood, memory and overall quality of life. Attendees will learn about common symptoms of hormone imbalance; the difference between bioidentical and synthetic hormones; the differences between perimenopause, menopause and surgical menopause; and what to expect from hormone testing and consultations.
All Jewish women (and women of other faiths who have a Jewish spouse) are invited to this free event. No synagogue affiliation is required to attend, and attendees should arrive 15 minutes early.
