The Goldenberg Duo, consisting of siblings Susan and William Goldenberg, will present a series of free recital performances in April.
Susan Goldenberg has been a violinist with the Kansas City Symphony for more than 40 years and performs in the Kinnor Philharmonic at The J. William Goldenberg is a distinguished professor of piano at Northern Illinois University. The sibling duo have performed concerts for more than 43 years across the United States and the world.
The duo will perform works by George Handel, Aaron Copland, Dmitri Shostakovich, Florence Price, Antonin Dvorak, Maurice Ravel, Joaquin Turina and Scott Joplin.
They have six free shows scheduled:

- Thursday, Apr. 2, at 12 p.m. at the Lawrence Public Library as part of its “Music for Maundy Thursday” (707 Vermont Ave., Lawrence, KS 66044)
- Monday, Apr. 6, at 2:30 p.m. at Village Shalom as part of its Helen Bettinger Music Series (5500 W. 123rd St., Overland Park, KS 66209)
- Tuesday, Apr. 7, at 7 p.m. at Diastole UMKC (2501 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO 64108)
- Friday, Apr. 10, at 3 p.m. at Bishop Spencer Place (4301 Madison Ave., Kansas City, MO 64111)
- Saturday, Apr. 11, at 3 p.m. at Shawnee Presbyterian Church as part of Community Concerts at Shawnee (6837 Nieman Rd., Shawnee, KS 66209)
