Thirteen women came together recently for a KC Evolve Hadassah Purim gathering led by Rabbi Talia Kaplan of Congregation Beth Shalom.

The evening’s learning was centered around Queen Esther, Hadassah herself.

Rabbi Kaplan guided the group through the theme of “What’s in a name?” exploring the different rabbinic interpretations of Hadassah and highlighting Esther’s legacy of leadership, courage and strength.

After the conversation, participants began making hamantaschen. All attendees left with handmade hamantaschen to bake at home.
