Jewish Unforgettable Ladies Interested in Eating Together (JULIETs) will host Rabbi Moti Rieber and Sagi Rudnick for a discussion about Kansas Interfaith Action (KIFA), a statewide advocacy organization.

The event will be held on Sunday, Jan. 25, at Congregation Beth Torah (6100 W. 127th St., Overland Park, KS 66209). Attendees should arrive by 12:15 p.m. to check in so the event can begin promptly.

KIFA is an organization that works to educate, engage and advocate on behalf of people of faith regarding social, economic and climate justice issues. Members lobby at the state legislature regarding priorities such as immigrant and LGBTQ+ rights and fully-funded public education. Rabbi Rieber is its executive director, and Rudnick is its program and administrative associate.

Women can reserve their seat by emailing Susie Klinock at by Thursday, Jan. 22. Admission is free, but each woman must have a reserved seat.

All Jewish women (and women of other faiths who have a Jewish spouse) are invited to this free event. No synagogue affiliation is required to attend, and attendees should bring their own lunch or snack. Beverages and paper goods will be provided.
