Registration is open for The J Indoor Adult Coed Soccer League, a recreational league for players of all levels.
Described by The J as “a fast-paced, community-focused indoor soccer experience,” the league will play games of four-versus-four, with three field players and a goalie on each side. Games, which will be split into 15-minute halves and refereed, will be played on indoor turf with futsal (a version of indoor soccer) goals and balls. Modified soccer rules will be shared before the season begins.
“If you’re looking for a league built on connection, community and the joy of the game, we’d love to see you out on the field with us,” said Aaron Childers, who will facilitate the league at The J.
Over the course of eight weeks, each team will play at least six league games. Teams must consist of between five and eight people, and a traveling trophy will be awarded to league champions.
Those without a team can register as a free agent at thejkc.org/sports-and-rec. Those who have a team organized can email Childers at with the expected roster list. Each member must register individually. Members of The J get a discounted rate compared to non-members.
