An 8th grader at Prairie Star Middle School, Michael became a Bar Mitzvah at Camp Sabra on August 7, surrounded by friends and an immersive and meaningful Jewish community. Michael and his family are congregants of The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah. Michael loves video games, playing trumpet in the school band and basketball.
Michael is the grandson of Diane Ravis and Michael Ravis (of blessed memory); Glynis Furey (of blessed memory); and Richard and Pat Furey of Spring Lake, New Jersey. Michael has a 10-year-old sister, Emma.
