Sylvia Fehr Abrams Soule turned 100 years old on April 20.
She was born on April 20, 1926, in Santa Monica, California, to her parents, Minnie and David Fehr, and had one older brother, Louis A. Fehr. She has been a resident of Kansas City since 1953, where she raised two daughters, Caryn Abrams Rains and Diane Abrams Jones, and remains a long time member of The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah.
Attending the celebration were Soule’s two daughters, a son-in-law, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her extended family and closest friend celebrated with her recently with a surprise party, luncheon and special gift — a memory book of her life stories. She was also honored by a letter by the governor of Kansas, Laura Kelly, as part of the surprise.
