On Oct. 28, 1932, God sent one of his brightest lights down to earth, Burton Jacobs. He was welcomed into a loving family with his mother Edith, father Maurice and brother Lawrence.
Arnold Probin passed away Feb. 25, 2021, at Overland Park Regional Hospital. A private family service was held on Feb. 26, 2021.
Louis Bordman passed away peacefully on March 18, 2021.
He was born in Kansas City, Missouri, where he grew up and spent his life. He was a graduate of Paseo High School and received an undergraduate degree from UMKC. He served his country in the Army and shortly after married the love of his life, Janet. They were married 55 years and had two children, Steve and Wendy.
Donald Morton Boresow, devoted husband and proud father of 14 children, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 20, 2021, at the age of 86. He lived an amazing and fulfilling life and left behind a legacy for which we can all be proud.
Susan Marcella Cohen, a lifelong resident of Kansas City, passed away on March 18, 2021, at age 76 at her home on the Plaza.
Susan was born on Sept. 14, 1944, the daughter of Philip and Eunice “Dee Dee” Cohen. She is survived by her brother, Martin Cohen; Rabbi Randy Sheinberg and Paola (Susan’s younger niece) of New York; her niece Ariel Cohen and Louis Orren and Isadora Cohen-Orren of California; and by numerous cousins.
Our joyous, curious, playful, eternally youthful husband, father, grandfather, uncle, son and friend Goody Garfield died peacefully in his sleep on March 11, 2021, in Lawrence, Kansas, bathed in the love of family and his extended community, near and far. He was 95.

Sherry Abramowitz, 77, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021.
Jerry Cosner, 84, passed away on March 11, 2021. Jerry was born in Kansas City to Ben and Esther Cosner. He graduated from Paseo High School in 1954, and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Georgia Tech and a master’s degree in business from the University of Chicago. Jerry worked as an engineer, consultant and later as the president of American Ingredients in Kansas City.
Alan Abraham Goldberg passed away March 10, 2021, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. He was born on Jan. 9, 1945, to Sophie Collens and Harold Bernard Goldberg in Highland Park, Michigan. Alan received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Wayne State University, and a Master of Arts from Northern Illinois University at DeKalb.
Marvin Wilbur Goodman died on March 10, 2021, at Westchester Village of Lenexa at the age of 98 years and 1 day. Marvin was born March 9, 1923, to William Eli Goodman and Lillian Goldansky Goodman in Kansas City, Missouri. He spent his childhood in Kansas City with a large close family and enjoyed many boyhood summers in Times Beach, Missouri, working for his aunt and uncle.

Myron S. Cramer passed away peacefully on Feb. 15, 2021. Born in Kansas City, Kansas, on Aug. 30, 1937, Myron lived a life of unparalleled, indescribable magnitude. He grew up in Kansas City, attended and graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1955 and remained in the Kansas City area for the better part of his extraordinary life.
William “Bill” Kessler, 87, died peacefully in his Overland Park home on Feb. 24, 2021. Bill was born on June 10, 1933. The son of Phil and Jean Kessler, he grew up in Kansas City, Missouri.
