Annette was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and moved to Overland Park, Kansas in 1976. She was a longtime member of The Temple, Congregation, B’nai Jehudah and was vice president of B’nai Brith Women. She volunteered at Menorah Medical Center and Harvesters Community Food Network. She was passionate about politics and ran the Democratic headquarters in Minneapolis.

Taisa was born April 14, 1929 in Gorky, Russia. There she met her first husband, Benjamin Sukiennik, who had fled from Poland and the Nazis with part of his family. In 1947 they returned briefly to Poland, lived as displaced people in Sweden for five years, and thanks to President Truman, were able to move to America in 1953.

She was born August 18, 1920, in Kansas City, Missouri to Morris and Ruth Hurst, both of whom predeceased her. Also preceding her in death were her husband of 58 years, Albert Greenberg; her brothers, Harold Hurst and Richard Hurst and sons-in-law, Stanford S. Block, Jr. and David H. Seelig.
