Vicki Ann Powell, 73, Olathe, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012, at Pinnacle Ridge Care Center.

Funeral services were to be held in the chapel at Kehilath Israel Blue Ridge Cemetery on Thursday, Aug. 2, followed by burial. Kindly omit flowers. The family requests contributions to Kehilath Israel Blue Ridge Cemetery, Wayside Waifs or the Humane Society of Kansas City.

Vicki was a lifelong area resident, attended Kansas City schools, graduating from Paseo High School. She was outgoing and a good conversationalist and enjoyed her jobs, where she worked with people. Vicki was musically inclined and enjoyed playing piano.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Marjorie Powell; and brother, Stuart Bryan Powell.

Vicki is survived by her sisters and brother-in-law, Melba and Arnold Katz, Prairie Village, and Sue Kelman, Harrington Park, N.J.; and sister-in-law, Cindi Powell, Charlotte, N.C. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Vicki will be greatly missed by her loving family.
