Jane Klaiber, 58, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012, at her home in Louisburg, Kan. Funeral services were held Monday, July 23, at The Louis Memorial Chapel, with burial at Mount Carmel Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to Congregation Beth Shalom or the Kansas Lung Association. Jane, the daughter of Robert and Alice Klaiber, was born in Buffalo, N.Y., where she received her post high school training as an RN at Meyer Memorial Hospital. She moved with her husband to the Louisburg area. She worked as a family nurse-practitioner for Cass Regional Medical Center in Drexler and Archie, Mo., for the past seven years. Jane’s family, friends, writing, gardening and “paying it forward” were her passions. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and the many nurses she mentored and taught. Jane was preceded in death by her parents and stepmother: Emma Klaiber. She is survived by loving husband of 21 years, Stephen Feinstein; sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Sheri Nason, Chandler, Ariz., Charles Feinstein, Oakland, Calif., and Todd and Angie Feinstein, Austin, Texas; daughters and son-in-law, Cydney Feinstein, Alameda, Calif., and Amanda Feinstein and Paul Leonard, Oakland, Calif.; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Gwen Klaiber, Inverness, Fla.; grandchildren, Max Feinstein and Ava Feinstein, Austin, Jack Feinstein, Oakland, and Conner Nason and Allie Nason, Chandler.
