We must speak out
Most rabbis will not speak about the Iran situation during the High Holidays. They are afraid of insulting part of their audience, which pays their salaries.
I wonder what would have occurred if there were more rabbis in America with pulpits during the Holocaust who would have spoken in favor of bombing the train lines to Auschwitz. {mprestriction ids="1,3"}Perhaps millions of Jews would have been saved. What would have happened if most Jews had not bowed down to Rabbi Stephen Weiss, who protected President Roosevelt from Jews who disagreed with his policies regarding the Holocaust?
This is pre-1933 Germany and most Jews are living in a dream. There are some Christians, G-d bless them, who support Israel. Many boycott Israel.
Anti-Semitism is alive and well in America. Just look at what is being said about Sen. Chuck Schumer. People are stating that he committed treason and question his loyalty to this country.{/mprestriction}
