This has been a very interesting month in American politics. First there was the upstaging of the office of the president, with Prime Minister Netanyahu addressing a joint session of Congress. The next upstaging was when the newly elected Sen. Cotton (R-Ark.), after only 60 days in office, gets 47 senators to sign a letter to Iran’s government, trying to crash the negotiations on the nuclear discussions. Then Sen. Cotton makes the claim that Irani leaders do not comprehend the U.S. Constitution.

Apparently this little upstart did not do his homework. {mprestriction ids="1,3"}Prime Minister Rouhani of Iran has a Ph.D. from the University of Scotland, and his 15-member cabinet has Ph.D.’s from prestigious American universities.

Now this undermining has been surfacing since 2008, as Senators Boehner and McConnell have been and will continue seeking to prevent President Obama from accomplishing anything during his eight years in office.

Now parallel the sad situation at the University of Oklahoma. The chant that SAE fraternity members at OU was playfully singing has gone viral, and reflects the real racial divide in America. It points to why there is so much dysfunction in Washington. The conservatives do not, and have not, accepted Obama’s being elected in their WHITE HOUSE. The red states (Ol’ South), thanks to the 2014 elections, have finally risen. Are we now back to JIM CROW 1906?{/mprestriction}
