Molly Lane Failla passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo.

Graveside services were held Sunday, Feb. 17, at Sheffield Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to NAMI, 406 W. 34th St, Suite 603, Kansas City, MO 64111.

Molly was born in Tulsa, Okla., the daughter of Richard and Kim Failla. She moved with her family as a teenager to Louisville, Colo., where she graduated from high school in 2002. She continued her education in Overland Park at Johnson County Community College. She moved to Houston in 2004 to pursue her career as a psychiatric technician and later back to Kansas City in 2009 to further that work.

Molly was very active in the Jewish community as a teenager in Amarillo, Texas, and had her Bat Mitzvah at Temple B’nai Israel there. The family returned to Tulsa and she was confirmed in 2000 at Temple Israel.

Molly ran track in high school, was an avid downhill skier and loved animals.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Anna Lee Bennett.

She is survived by her parents, Richard and Kim Failla, Kansas City, Kan.; sisters and brother-in-law, Robin Baldwin, Tulsa, and Kristen and Keith Morehouse, Midland, Texas; uncle, Joel Bennett, Claremore, Okla.; grandfather, William Bennett, Skiatook, Okla.; and fiancé, Justin Claibourn, Harrisonville, Mo.
