Daniel Harry Hoffman, 90, a lifelong area resident, passed away June 17, 2017. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at Louis Memorial Chapel; interment followed at Mount Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Luke’s Heart Institute.
Harry was born Dec. 12, 1926, to Joseph and Bessie Hoffman. He worked with his father for 40 years in the family dry cleaning business in downtown Kansas City. Harry was a former member of Congregation Beth Shalom for 60 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence after 65 years of marriage.
Harry is survived by his son, Arnie Hoffman (Marianne); daughters, Rhonda Card (Daryl) and Joan Gonzalez (Hector); grandchildren, Brian Card (Bianca), Jesse Card, and David, Mariah and Rebekah Gonzalez; and one great-granddaughter, Alianna.
