Susan K. Kahn, 56, of Prairie Village, Kansas, passed away June 6, 2017. Graveside services were held Thursday, June 8, at Kehilath Israel Blue Ridge Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to Congregation Ohev Sholom or Jewish Family Services.
Susan was born May 24, 1961, in Durham, North Carolina, to Dr. Marvin and Lonna Kahn. She worked as a gifted software programmer who was loved by all her co-workers.
Susan had a great since of humor and enjoyed singing. She was a beloved aunt who treated her nieces and nephews like they were her own. Susan was a rare gift from G-d who was taken much too soon. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Marvin Kahn. She is survived by her mother, Lonna Esterson Kahn; sister, Robyn Kahn Federman; brother, Richard (Carole) Kahn; five nieces and nephews; aunts, Judy Chernak, Marilyn Stern, Barbara Kaufman; uncle, Dr. Joseph (Joan) Esterson, and many cousins.
