Linda Luke Gurin, 69, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away April 26, 2017. Graveside service and interment were held April 30, 2017, at Mount Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Heritage Center at the Jewish Community Center or a charity of one’s choice.
She was born April 7, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Yudell and LaVerne Luke and was a lifelong area resident.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her daughters: Melissa Gurin Ashwill and Staci Gurin (Melody); sisters: Janis Koike, Molly Kaufman and Debra Singer (Mark); grandchildren: Marissa Ashwill and Matthew Ashwill. Loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.
