Bettye Wagenheim Rosen, 89, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully Jan. 11, 2017. A private family funeral service was held in St. Louis, Missouri. Bettye was born on June 24, 1927, in Pensacola, Florida.
Bettye moved from Pensacola to St. Louis over 70 years ago where she met her husband, Daniel Theodore Rosen. She was preceded in death by Daniel in 1984. Since that time, Bettye enjoyed traveling, playing tennis, volunteering for various organizations and spending time with her family and friends. Bettye had a great run of 89 years.
Bettye is survived by her son Jeff Rosen of Leawood, Kansas; daughter-in-law Carole Rosen, and grandsons Daniel and Samuel Rosen. During her life, Daniel and Samuel would affectionately refer to their grandmother as “Mimi.”
