Bette radiated unconditional love to all. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was one of the strongest, compassionate, gentle, understanding and wise souls anyone had ever known. Her smile warmed every heart.

The family deeply appreciates the unwavering loyalty and expertise of Rosetta White, her longtime primary caregiver whom she considered a daughter, and caregiver Joyce Bates Thompson, who through her gentle, loving nature brought out the best in Mom. A special thank you to Lucille and the staff of The Atriums for going the extra mile. Thank you Dr. Peter Holt for being the most wonderful physician a family could ask for.

She is survived by son: Robert Caviar and wife Judy; daughter: Patricia Caviar and partner Michael Spillers; grandchildren: Yevett Karpel, Cory Leetham and Moneque Dobbs, Tom and Michael Caviar; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
